Alberta Government Requirements

Effective June 1, 2011, all persons wishing to become a security professionals, loss prevention operatives, mobile security officers, patrol dog handler, alarm responder or investigator in Alberta must successfully complete a 40-hour mandatory basic security training (ABST) program (online or in a classroom) to qualify for a license.  Learn More
